The Palestinian presidency has renewed its confirmation of its steadfast position in rejecting and condemning any targeting of Palestinian and Israeli civilians, and denouncing all forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of their source.

The presidency emphasized that security and stability in the region cannot be achieved without ending the occupation, stopping the acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the terrorism of settlers in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

It stressed that the attainment of the Palestinian people's legitimate rights to an independent and sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and achieving security and peace for all, is what will end the cycle of violence in the region.
