Netanyahu is absent from his corruption trial, citing being busy with the Jerusalem operation.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed the court of his decision not to appear before it on Monday to respond to corruption charges, citing his engagement with the repercussions of the shooting incident in occupied Jerusalem.

The Israeli "Magen David Adom" (ambulance service) stated in a report that the toll from the shooting in the Ramot settlement in Jerusalem is 5 dead and 12 injured, including 7 with "serious" injuries.

Hebrew media reported the killing of two Palestinians whom they said carried out the shooting, from the towns of Qatna and Qubeiba northwest of Jerusalem.
