The Hamas movement stated on Saturday that the Israeli army's destruction of a new residential tower in Gaza City represents "a clear continuation of committing the crime of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing."
Hamas added in a statement: "Targeting residential towers crowded with displaced people, women, and children, under the pretext of their use by the resistance, are exposed lies and flimsy excuses, representing a disregard for the international community and covering up complete war crimes that amount to genocide."
The movement continued that this is "an attempt to uproot the population from their city, under the weight of massacres and the destruction of all means of life."
