Osama Hamdan responds to Trump.. This is what Hamas wants

Osama Hamdan, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump's talk about ending the war by releasing Israeli prisoners is 'just an idea that does not constitute an offer.' Hamdan added in statements that the movement will deal with any proposal seriously if presented to it, emphasizing that Hamas is not interested in hearing 'positive words,' but rather wants a clear political offer and practical measures 'to stop the aggression and ensure the withdrawal of the occupying forces.'

He stressed that Hamas will deal with any serious proposal presented to it 'if it includes what addresses the Palestinian demand clearly.' The Hamas leader explained that his movement had proposed early on a comprehensive deal that completely ends the aggression, under which the occupation would withdraw from all territories of the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of Israeli prisoners for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners, in addition to ending the blockade, opening the crossings, and starting reconstruction.

Hamdan also called for Trump to exert pressure on the occupation and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has reneged on previous agreements for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange. He pointed out that time is not only pressing the Palestinian side, but also putting pressure on Israel amid a changing international mood that has future implications, asserting that crushing the will of the Palestinian people is 'impossible' and that he will never raise the white flag of surrender.
