Government disclosures from the occupying entity revealed that Google signed a contract worth $45 million with the office of the Prime Minister of the occupying entity, Benjamin Netanyahu. The contract, which lasts for six months, aims to fund advertising campaigns across the company's platforms that promote the occupying entity's narrative of the war and deny the existence of famine in the Gaza Strip.
According to the disclosures, Google and its platform 'YouTube' are classified as 'key players' in the media campaign managed by the government advertising office of the occupying entity 'Lifam'. In addition to YouTube, the spending includes millions more on platforms such as 'X' (formerly Twitter), 'Outbrain', and 'Teads', to ensure wide dissemination of the occupying entity's propaganda messages.
The campaigns funded under this contract include advertising messages and videos that directly assert that 'there is food in Gaza'. These messages stand in direct contradiction to the official United Nations announcement of famine in the sector, and its warning of the risk of mass starvation.
Accusations against Google of 'profiting from genocide' by supporting a campaign that denies famine.
