Smotrich escalates: "We will strike the Palestinian Authority if it raises its head".. and vows to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In a series of fiery statements reflecting a hardening of the Israeli occupation's stance, the Minister of Finance in the occupation, Bezalel Smotrich, threatened to "exterminate the Palestinian Authority if it dares to raise its head," affirming that "Israel" will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state "no matter the challenges."

These statements came to emphasize the current Israeli occupation government's strategy towards the Palestinian conflict. A firm rejection of the Palestinian state with American support.

Smotrich unequivocally announced that his government would work towards the complete eradication of the idea of establishing a Palestinian state, indicating that this position enjoys support from the American administration.

He stressed that the goal is to prevent the occupied Israeli cities from turning into something resembling "Gaza envelope areas," referring to the security concerns used by the government to justify its policies.

Smotrich linked the prevention of the Palestinian state to plans for the complete imposition of Israeli occupation sovereignty over the West Bank, considering this step "realistic and necessary" to confront what he described as a "political attack on Israel."

The Israeli occupation minister's statements were not limited to the political aspect, but also carried a direct and clear threat to the Palestinian Authority, as he said: "We will exterminate the Palestinian Authority if it dares to raise its head in front of us and harm us."
