The Hebrew newspaper "Ma'ariv" revealed in a report on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army has begun a massive mobilization of about 130,000 reserve soldiers, in a clear preparation for launching a wide military operation aimed at reoccupying the city of Gaza.
This unprecedented military buildup comes at a time when sharp disagreements are escalating between the military establishment and the occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, regarding the feasibility and timing of the operation, as well as existential questions about the "day after" in Gaza.
The Israeli occupation army is aware that fighting inside the city of Gaza will be "extremely complex," recalling the heavy price it paid in the previous operation, which resulted in 100 dead and hundreds injured.
There are places like Al-Zeitoun that have been occupied seven times and Beit Hanoun six times, raising deep doubts about the army's ability to achieve a true "victory image."
