Medical sources announced today, Monday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 63,557, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The medical sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 160,660 since the onset of the aggression, while several martyrs remain under the rubble, and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
They indicated that 98 dead and 404 injured individuals have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, while the total number of dead and injuries since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, has reached 11,426 dead and 48,619 injured.
They clarified that the toll of those who reached hospitals from the martyrs of assistance in the past 24 hours is 46 dead, and the injuries are 239, bringing the total number of dead from the struggle for livelihood who have reached hospitals to 2,294, and the injuries to 16,839.
Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 9 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including 3 children, raising the total number of deaths to 348, including 127 children.
The majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression.
