Medical sources reported that 17 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. A number of injuries also occurred when the occupation targeted the outpatient clinic building of the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the center of the strip.
A correspondent mentioned that the occupation army carried out demolition operations on houses east of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, northern Gaza. Earlier, sources in Gaza hospitals stated that 78 Palestinians were martyred by the occupation's fire yesterday, Sunday, including 32 waiting for aid.
A source at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah stated that several Palestinians were injured in the Israeli shelling of the outpatient clinic building. The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned the "ongoing Israeli aggression" on the hospital for the fourteenth consecutive time since the war on the strip began, noting that the shelling is a continuation of the systematic crime against the health system in the strip.
It also considered the shelling of hospitals in the strip a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian charters. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated in a statement that the shelling of the outpatient clinic building at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital is a "war crime aimed at destroying what remains of the medical sector."
On another note, a correspondent reported that continuous Israeli shelling is targeting the northeastern neighborhoods of Gaza City and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northern city. A source in the ambulance and emergency services reported that 8 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli airstrikes on two houses in the Tunnel area and the Beach Camp in the city.
A source at the Baptist Hospital reported that several people, including children, were injured due to the targeting of Israeli warplanes on a residential block in the Sabra neighborhood in the southern city. Special photos showed the extent of the widespread destruction caused by the shelling.
Several Palestinians, including children and women, were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation aircraft targeting homes in the Shanti area, in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northwest of the city. A number of Palestinians were also injured in Israeli shelling on tents housing displaced persons in the Beach Camp in western Gaza.
In the central strip, a source at Al-Awda Hospital reported that 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli shelling on a house in the Al-Bureij Camp. Palestinian media outlets also reported that occupation aircraft launched an airstrike on the Talbani neighborhood east of Deir al-Balah city.
Media sources reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis in the southern strip. Regarding resistance operations, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced in a statement early today that they destroyed an armored personnel carrier with a powerful explosive device in the Nazlah area west of Jabalia, causing it to catch fire.
They added that they monitored the landing of helicopter aircraft to evacuate the injured. Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been waging a genocidal war in Gaza, resulting in more than 203,000 Palestinian killed and injured, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and famine that has claimed many lives.
The shelling of hospitals in the strip is a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian charters.
