Medical sources announced today, Sunday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 63,459, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The medical sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 160,256 since the beginning of the aggression, while several victims remain under the rubble, and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
They indicated that 88 dead and 421 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, has reached 11,328 martyrs and 48,215 injured.
They clarified that the number of dead who arrived at hospitals from aid-related incidents during the past 24 hours is 30 dead, and the injuries are 166, bringing the total number of victims from livelihood-related incidents who reached hospitals to 2,248, and the injuries to 16,600.
Gaza Strip hospitals recorded 7 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths to 339, including 124 children.
