Experts: Disarming "Hezbollah" is complicated and dependent on Israel's actions.

Lebanese experts described the issue of disarming "Hezbollah" as "complex," dependent on American guarantees regarding Israel's commitment to withdraw from southern Lebanon, amid anticipation for the plan that the Cabinet will approve on September 2.

With time running out, the Lebanese army faces a difficult task of consolidating arms in the hands of the state, amid American pressures met with Hezbollah's insistence on not surrendering its weapons.

The Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Naeem Qassem, confirmed in a previous televised speech that the party will only hand over its weapons if Israel withdraws from Lebanese territory, stops its aggression against the country, releases prisoners, and begins reconstruction.
