The occupation army's radio reported on Saturday that 7 soldiers were injured on Friday evening by the explosion of a bomb targeting a "Namer" armored personnel carrier that was transporting them on the outskirts of Gaza City. The radio mentioned in a brief news report that "one of the soldiers is moderately injured and the others have minor injuries."
For its part, the Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" stated that the incident occurred in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City and "the injured soldiers were transferred to the hospital and their families were notified," while Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip have not yet confirmed the targeting.
This comes at a time when the occupation army has intensified its airstrikes on neighborhoods in Gaza City since the dawn of Friday, coinciding with its declaration of the city as a "dangerous combat zone." On Friday evening, the Hebrew channel "i24 News" reported "fierce clashes in the outskirts of Gaza City, accompanied by airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling, amid reports of Israeli forces advancing in the area."
The enemy's criminal plans to occupy Gaza will be a burden on its political and military leadership, and its army will pay the price with the blood of its soldiers.
