22 dead in the occupation's shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip

22 citizens were killed and dozens were injured today, Saturday, in the occupation's shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip, with the bombardment particularly concentrated in the city.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces fired directly at those waiting for aid south of the Wadi Gaza area in the center of the Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 5 citizens and injuries to others.

The sources also added that rescue and civil defense teams managed to recover the bodies of 3 dead following the occupation's shelling of a house in the Nuseirat camp during the early hours of dawn.

Medical sources in the Strip's hospitals stated that 8 dead arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital, 7 martyrs at Al-Awda Hospital, 5 martyrs at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and two at Nasser Hospital.

This escalation in aggression comes at a time when the besieged residents of the Gaza Strip are suffering from difficult humanitarian conditions, as the need for humanitarian aid increases amid ongoing assaults.
