Medical sources announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,819 dead, most of whom are children and women. This number comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression that began on October 7, 2023.
The medical sources also reported that the number of injuries has risen to 158,629 since the beginning of the aggression, with a number of victims trapped under the rubble, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by the residents of the strip.
In the past twenty-four hours, 75 dead and 370 injured individuals were recorded arriving at hospitals in the Gaza Strip, indicating the continued escalation and assaults by the occupying army.
Since March 18, after the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, the death toll has risen to 10,975 dead and 46,588 injured, highlighting the ongoing deterioration of humanitarian conditions.
Additionally, 17dead and 122 injured individuals from the victims of livelihood were recorded in the past hours, bringing the total number of aid victims to 2,140 and injuries to 15,737, reflecting the devastating impact of the aggression on the daily lives of Palestinians.
Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 3 new deaths in recent hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths to 303, including 117 children, highlighting the tragic conditions faced by children in the strip.
