The death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,744 martyrs and 158,259 injuries

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, that the death toll has risen to 62,744 since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023. This tragic number reflects the significant impact of the aggression on civilians, as most of the martyrs are children and women.

The sources also reported that the number of injuries has risen to 158,259, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by the residents of the strip. There are still a number of victims under the rubble, as rescue and civil defense teams are struggling to reach them due to the ongoing aggression.

In the past 24 hours, 58 martyrs and 308 injured individuals have been recorded arriving at hospitals in the Gaza Strip, adding to the horrific numbers recorded since the beginning of the aggression. Since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, the number of martyrs has reached 10,900 and 46,218 injured.

The sources clarified that the death toll from aid in the past 24 hours has reached 28 martyrs and 184 injured, raising the total number of martyrs from the struggle for livelihood to 2,123 and injuries to 15,615. These numbers reflect the tragic situation experienced by the residents of the strip.

Gaza Strip hospitals recorded 11 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including two children, raising the total number of deaths to 300, among them 117 children. These figures indicate the worsening humanitarian crisis in the besieged strip.
