The occupation arrests 15 citizens from the Hebron governorate.

On the morning of Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in the Hebron governorate, where they arrested 15 citizens after raiding and searching their homes.

Local security sources reported that the occupation forces tampered with the contents of the homes and assaulted citizens during the raid, resulting in an atmosphere of fear and panic among the residents.

Among the detainees, several names were identified, including Ramez Hossam Taha, Yassin Jawad Taha, Mamoun Munther Taha, and Karim Ali Taha, who were arrested from the city of Hebron.

The occupation forces also arrested a number of citizens from the town of Surif northwest of Hebron, including Ahmad Kamal Ghanimat, Mahmoud Muhammad Hamidat, Ahmad Mahmoud Awad, and Ramadan Ali Al-Qadi.

In the town of Al-Dhahiriya south of Hebron, citizens Ala Abu Al-Ghazlan and Adnan Al-Tal were arrested, reflecting the ongoing policy of arbitrary arrests practiced by the occupation forces.

Furthermore, the occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances of Hebron and its towns and villages, leading to the closure of several main and secondary roads using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
