The Israeli army arrests 19 Palestinians in the West Bank, including a deputy in the "Legislative Council."

This morning, Sunday, the occupation army arrested at least 19 Palestinians, including member of the Legislative Council Anwar Zboun, during a series of raids in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, the occupation forces arrested 6 young men in Nablus, in addition to 4 citizens from the village of Douma and two others from the village of Burqa, after storming their homes and searching them.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, where they arrested 6 citizens from one family, searched several homes, and tampered with their contents, leading to the abuse of the citizens.

In the southern Hebron area, the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians, in addition to raiding several homes in the town of Sa'ir and the village of Al-Burj, reflecting an increase in arrest operations.

In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested two brothers from the village of Umm Safa, raising the number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation's jails to about 10,800, including 49 women and 450 children.

Data indicates that the total number of prisoners is the highest since the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000, reflecting the escalation of violations against Palestinians.

In a related context, the occupation army and settlers have killed at least 1,015 Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and about 7,000 others have been injured, highlighting the extent of the suffering.

A Palestinian youth was martyred last night by the bullets of occupation soldiers during a raid on the village of Al-Mughayer north of Ramallah, and a woman was injured and a Palestinian home was burned in separate raids.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of Hamdan Mousa Muhammad Abu Aliya (18 years old) by the bullets of the occupation in the town of Al-Mughayer, adding to the growing list of martyrs.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop the aggression.

The Israeli genocide war has resulted in 61,827 martyrs and 155,275 injured, reflecting the catastrophic impact on the Palestinian people, especially children and women.
