The occupation army talks about preparations to evacuate Palestinians from the city of Gaza.

The occupation army spoke on Saturday evening about preparations to evacuate Palestinians from the city of Gaza to the southern areas, as part of a plan aimed at completely reoccupying the city. This plan has sparked widespread international criticism, as many consider it an inhumane step given the current circumstances.

The spokesperson for the occupation army, Avichai Adraee, mentioned in a statement that starting tomorrow, Sunday, tents and shelter equipment will be renewed for Palestinians who have lost their homes due to the ongoing aggression on the sector. This step comes as part of the occupation army's preparations to move civilians to safer areas.

Adraee indicated that the transfer of this equipment will be done through the United Nations and international relief organizations, via the Kerem Shalom crossing, after undergoing thorough inspections. However, no immediate comment has been issued from the United Nations or relief organizations regarding this matter.

In a related context, the Hebrew broadcasting authority claimed that the occupation army is preparing to accelerate the military operation aimed at occupying the city of Gaza, as the 99th Division has begun its work in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city. These developments indicate a potential escalation in military operations.

Hebrew newspapers reported that the Israeli army received orders to prepare for an invasion of what remains of the city of Gaza, while excluding the execution of this step before the upcoming month of September. This delay may be a result of increasing international pressures.

Last Wednesday, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir approved the central plan for the complete reoccupation of the Gaza Strip, including attacks on the Zeitoun area. This plan comes after the Israeli government approved a proposal by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which has drawn global criticism.

The plan includes the evacuation of Palestinians, numbering around one million, to the south, then surrounding the city and conducting incursions into residential areas. These measures could lead to further humanitarian suffering in the sector.

The second phase of the plan includes the occupation of refugee camps in the middle of the sector, which have been subjected to widespread destruction during the aggression that has been ongoing since October 7, 2023. These steps raise significant concerns about the worsening humanitarian situation.

The besieged Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for 18 years, currently houses about 2.4 million Palestinians and experienced an Israeli occupation that lasted 38 years between 1967 and 2005. This historical background makes it difficult for Palestinians to endure further suffering.

Official and popular criticisms from around the world are increasing regarding Tel Aviv's intentions to reoccupy the Gaza Strip, with warnings of more Palestinian casualties resulting from the ongoing aggression and systematic starvation policies.
