The European Palestinian Media Center (Ibal) documented approximately 42,000 demonstrations and events in support of the Palestinian cause in more than 700 cities across 20 European countries. These events come after 675 days of the genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli occupation against the besieged Gaza Strip.
Participants in these events included various European nationalities, as well as several parties, politicians, and parliamentary members, all expressing their rejection of the genocide and massacres committed by the occupying state. This widespread participation reflects the solidarity of European society with the Palestinians.
The European Palestinian Media Center clarified that these events have a significant impact within European society, as the occupying state is currently suffering from cultural and educational isolation, contributing to an increase in support for the Palestinian cause and its justice at the expense of the Israeli narrative.
In documenting these events, Ibal's board member, Maher Hijazi, mentioned that they rely on the efforts of reporters, collaborators, and volunteers in various European cities, in addition to live broadcasting of the events through the center's various platforms.
The center managed to document about 42,000 demonstrations and events during 675 days of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. Hijazi confirmed that these voices reflect significant support for the Palestinian cause and call on governments to pressure the occupation to stop its aggression.
Hijazi spoke about the results reflected in the solidarity with approximately 2.3 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, noting that these movements raise slogans against the starvation of Gaza and condemn Israeli policies targeting the entry of aid.
He also pointed out that these events have led to a rise in voices in Europe demanding real pressure on the Israeli Prime Minister to stop the aggression and allow humanitarian aid to enter.
In recent days, the events have seen a clear intensification condemning Israeli crimes against journalists in the Gaza Strip, particularly the assassination of Anas Sharif and Muhammad Qareqea.
The European Palestinian Media Center (Ibal) is an institution concerned with Palestinian affairs in Europe, established by the efforts of Palestinian journalists and media professionals, aiming to present the Palestinian cause to the European public in all its humanitarian, cultural, and legal dimensions.
These resounding voices in Europe reflect significant support for the Palestinian cause and a rejection of genocide.
