The death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,897 dead and 155,660 injured

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced this evening that the death toll has risen to 61,897 since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023. These numbers are horrifying, as the majority of the martyrs are children and women, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian suffering faced by civilians in the region.

The sources also reported that the number of injured has risen to 155,660, while there are still a number of victims trapped under the rubble, hindering the efforts of rescue teams and civil defense to reach them. These figures indicate the catastrophic situation that the residents of the region are enduring.

In the past 24 hours, 70 martyrs dead have been reported to have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including 8 bodies that were recovered, in addition to 385 injured. These numbers reflect the ongoing aggression and the rising tide of violence in the area.

Since March 18, following the occupation's violation of the ceasefire agreement, the death toll has risen to 10,362, and the number of injured to 43,619. These figures indicate a serious escalation in the security and humanitarian situation in the region.

Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 11 deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including one child, raising the total number to 251 cases, among them 108 children. This situation reflects the devastating impact of the blockade and aggression on the lives of civilians.

The continuation of the aggression against the Gaza Strip raises increasing international concern, as calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid for the affected civilians grow. The humanitarian situation in the region requires urgent intervention to save lives.
