United Nations: Building thousands of colonial units in the West Bank is illegal.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights issued a statement confirming that the occupying state's plan to build thousands of colonial units in the occupied West Bank, especially near occupied Jerusalem, contradicts international laws. This statement comes at a time when concerns are increasing about the colonial expansion that threatens the rights of Palestinians.

The Commission warned that these colonial plans could lead to the forced displacement of Palestinians from their lands, constituting a blatant violation of international law. It noted that such actions could be considered a war crime under international standards.

These warnings are part of international efforts to monitor the violations committed by the occupying state against Palestinians. The Commission called on the international community to take effective measures to pressure the occupying state to stop these colonial activities.

The Commission also emphasized the importance of protecting the rights of Palestinians in land and property, pointing out that the continued construction of colonial units exacerbates instability in the region and increases tensions between Palestinians and Zionist settlers.

This statement comes at a sensitive time as international pressure on the occupying state to halt its colonial policies is increasing. Many countries and international organizations have expressed their concern over the implications of these policies on the peace process in the region.
