The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the occupying state has outlined the conditions it insists on to stop the war in Gaza, as negotiations continue in Cairo and Doha to reach an agreement that ends the war in the besieged enclave.
Sharren Haskel, the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, stated that the presence of a peaceful, non-Israeli civilian administration in Gaza is one of the main points of the Israeli government's plan to end the war.
Other key points include the release of hostages held in Gaza, the disarmament of the Islamic Resistance Movement 'Hamas', and making the Gaza Strip completely demilitarized, while Israel retains security control.
In a related context, Israeli officials announced that the head of the Israeli intelligence agency 'Mossad', David Barnea, is visiting Qatar to revive ceasefire talks in Gaza.
Egyptian media sources reported that Cairo, which is mediating between the occupying state and 'Hamas', is intensifying its communications with various parties to overcome points of contention and reach a truce agreement.
This came on the second day of the announcement of a delegation from 'Hamas' arriving in Egypt to discuss reviving the indirect negotiations that stalled in late July.
Sources confirmed that meetings are ongoing between the 'Hamas' delegation and Egyptian officials, noting that 'Egypt is intensifying its communications with all parties to reach a truce in preparation for ending the war.'
In this context, the 'Hamas' delegation praised the Egyptian efforts made to facilitate the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip and to achieve a ceasefire.
The channel also reported that a delegation from 'Hamas', led by Khalil al-Hayya, arrived in Egypt as part of intensive efforts to reach a 60-day truce in the Gaza Strip.
Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Aty, revealed in a press conference that Cairo is working with Qatar and the United States to return to the proposal for a sixty-day truce in the Gaza Strip.
The presence of a peaceful, non-Israeli civilian administration in Gaza is among the main points of the Israeli government's plan.
