Twenty Palestinians were martyred on Thursday due to airstrikes and gunfire by the occupation army in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, as part of the ongoing genocide perpetrated by Tel Aviv for the past 22 months.

Among the dead, 8 members of the Kashko family were killed in a massacre carried out by the occupation army through an airstrike on their home in the Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, according to medical sources.

Two other Palestinians were also killed as a result of shelling carried out by a drone in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of the city, where they were transferred to the Baptist Hospital.

In a related context, an Israeli helicopter launched an airstrike on an apartment in a residential building near the Samer intersection in Gaza City, resulting in several injuries.

Local sources reported that the occupation army conducted demolition operations on homes and residential buildings in the Zeitoun neighborhood, coinciding with artillery shelling in several areas.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, a medical source reported the arrival of 10 dead and several injured to Nasser Hospital from Al-Tina Street and the Happy City area near the Moraj axis, as a result of gunfire from the occupation army towards those waiting for aid.

It is noteworthy that Israel has been implementing a plan to distribute aid through what is known as the Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation since May 27, which is rejected by the United Nations, as it lures the wounded and targets them with bullets.

The Israeli artillery shelling also targeted areas surrounding the Asda prison northwest of Khan Younis, which houses dozens of displaced persons' tents, with no reports of injuries.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza that includes killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in the death of 61,722 Palestinians and the injury of 154,525 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons.
