The occupation arrests five citizens from Qalqilya.

On the morning of Thursday, August 14, 2025, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya, carrying out arrests of five citizens, including a child. This campaign comes as part of the ongoing violations faced by Palestinians in various areas.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces entered the city from the eastern checkpoint, raiding several neighborhoods, including Al-Wad Street, 22, and Kafr Saba. These incursions caused a state of terror and panic among the residents, especially the children.

The young men who were arrested are: Ala Shteiwi, Aws Suwailem, Majid Al-Aqra, Dawood Al-Sharif, in addition to the child Yazan Al-Fayyumi. They were arrested after a brutal raid on their homes and thorough searches.

The occupation forces continue to carry out arrests on a daily basis, reflecting the policy of repression and oppression they exercise against Palestinians. These violations require international action to stop them and hold those responsible accountable.

The arrest of Palestinian children and young men is a blatant violation of human rights, and the international community must act to protect Palestinian civilians from these practices.

Calls are increasing from human rights organizations to pressure the occupying state to stop these violations, which are inconsistent with international law and human rights.
