Occupation Foreign Minister: We will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state or the implementation of the two-state solution.

In a controversial statement, the Israeli occupation government's Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa'ar, confirmed that his government will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. This came during a meeting with American media, where Sa'ar considered that the establishment of a Palestinian state would be tantamount to suicide for Israel.

Sa'ar added that countries supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state should implement that in their own territories, indicating that his government will not allow the application of the two-state solution. He considered that establishing a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders would put Israeli population centers in severe danger.

The Foreign Minister claimed that such a step would return Israel to defensible borders, which poses an existential threat. He also alleged that a Palestinian state in the heart of the land of Israel would be a solution for those seeking to annihilate them.

In the context of his remarks, Sa'ar called on major countries like France and Canada to establish a Palestinian state in their territories if they wish to do so, pointing out that they have very ample spaces for that, but in the land of Israel, this will not happen.

It is noteworthy that Sa'ar's statements come at a time when several countries, including France, Canada, Britain, Portugal, Australia, and New Zealand, have confirmed their intention to recognize the state of Palestine during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meetings in September.
