Israeli media: Thousands of soldiers have psychological issues and the call to help Gaza's children is Madonna's gift to her son.

Israeli media discussed the shortage of the army's personnel and equipment, as more than 50,000 soldiers have sought psychological help. Military affairs correspondent Nir Dvori from Channel 12 pointed to the significant gaps the army is facing, primarily the shortage of soldiers, with 10,000 soldiers available, including 7,000 combatants and 3,000 support personnel.

The correspondent also noted gaps in the operational readiness of tanks and armored vehicles, in addition to a shortage of spare parts. He explained that there is a ban on arms exports, making it difficult to operate everything at full capacity after 22 months of fighting.

According to Channel 12, the prolonged war in the besieged Gaza Strip has resulted in injuries to more than 18,900 soldiers and security personnel, of whom 10,000 are facing psychological issues. More than 50,000 soldiers in regular and reserve forces sought help from the "Eran" committee for psychological services last year.

Statistics show that the most common cases are feelings of isolation, followed by recurrent depression and psychological crises. Others have turned to the committee due to trauma and personal relationship problems.

In terms of employment, reserve soldiers are the ones paying the price, as one-third of soldiers and their spouses reported being affected and referred to unpaid leave or being fired from their jobs. The channel reported that 72% of freelancers said their work situation has deteriorated.

In a related context, Channel 12 reported that the anti-Israel campaign is escalating, with Paris becoming more aggressive towards Israel, starting from damaging El Al's offices to an air traffic controller calling for the liberation of Palestine.

Reports indicate that there is a diplomatic tsunami wave against Israel, joined by celebrities like Madonna and the band "U2." Madonna wrote a post calling on the Pope to go to Gaza to help children facing the risk of famine.

The band "U2" also issued a joint statement through their official website, expressing their shock at what is happening in Gaza and directing severe criticism at the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
