Hebrew media: France has stopped renewing work visas for employees of Israeli "El Al".

The Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that French authorities have suspended the renewal of work visas for security guards of El Al Israeli Airlines over the past six months. This decision comes amid the escalating crisis between the occupying state and France regarding the war in Gaza.

The occupying state seeks to pressure France following French President Emmanuel Macron's announcement of his country's intention to recognize the State of Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly meetings next September. This announcement has sparked widespread anger within Israeli circles.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 61,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 153,000 injured, in addition to thousands missing and displaced, exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the region.

The newspaper stated that "Paris has halted the renewal of work visas for El Al flight security guards, forcing some to remain in the country without visas or return to the occupying state." One security worker confirmed that "no one has had their expired visas renewed in recent months."

In a related context, the Israeli Foreign Ministry reported that the embassy in Paris is working to address the matter with the French Foreign Ministry, while the French embassy declined to comment and referred the matter to the Israeli embassy.

In a move reflecting the increasing tensions, El Al decided to evacuate its office in the French capital, Paris, after it was subjected to graffiti accusing it of committing genocide. The company confirmed that the incident occurred when the building was empty of people.

Crises between the occupying state and European countries continue to escalate, as the occupying state refuses to withdraw from the occupied territories and conducts ongoing military operations against the Palestinians, provoking strong reactions from the international community.
