The Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians at dawn today, Tuesday, during their incursion into several cities and villages in the occupied West Bank. These incursions come at a time when attacks by Zionist settlers are increasing, heightening tensions in the region.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the cities of Tulkarem, Nablus, and Jenin in the northern West Bank at dawn today. An Israeli force raided several homes during its incursion into the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, leading to the arrest of the father of one of the wanted individuals in the Shuwayka suburb north of Tulkarem.
The incursions also included the Al-Ain camp west of Nablus, where at least one young man was arrested. In central West Bank, the occupation forces stormed the Al-Irsal neighborhood in Ramallah and arrested a Palestinian there. These operations reflect the occupation's policy of pressuring Palestinians.
Earlier last night, several Palestinians were injured due to new attacks by settlers and the Israeli army in the northern and southern occupied West Bank. The assaults also targeted foreign activists, highlighting the extent of the violence faced by Palestinians.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its crews transported two injuries of foreign activists to the hospital in Tubas due to an attack by settlers and the army on them in Khirbat Bziq in the northern Jordan Valley. These incidents reflect the escalating violence in the region.
In the southern occupied West Bank, several Palestinians were injured in attacks by settlers on the towns of Halhul and Surif north of Hebron. Settlers also damaged grape crops belonging to citizens in the Al-Hawwar area of Halhul and stole others, exacerbating the suffering of Palestinians.
According to a report by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 466 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank during July, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 citizens and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities consisting of 50 Palestinian families.
Following the outbreak of war on Gaza, attacks by the Israeli army and settlers in the occupied West Bank have escalated, leading to the martyrdom of 1,013 Palestinians, the injury of 7,000, and the arrest of more than 18,000 others. These figures reflect the catastrophic situation that Palestinians are living under occupation.
