The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the toll of Palestinian dead due to the continuous Israeli operations since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, has exceeded 60,839 dead, in addition to more than 149,588 injuries. The ministry clarified that the number of deaths in the past 24 hours reached 119 martyrs, with 866 new injuries.

The ministry indicated that the toll of victims since the resumption of Israeli aggression on March 18, 2023, has reached 9,350 dead and 37,547 injuries so far. It also confirmed that the judicial committee responsible for following up on the files of notifications and missing persons recently added data for 290 dead to the overall statistics, as part of its efforts to document the victims.

In a related context, the ministry reported that the number of victims among those waiting for humanitarian aid since May 27, 2023, has reached 1,487 dead and 10,578 injuries, as hospitals received 65 dead and more than 511 injuries from these waiters in the past 24 hours. The areas designated for distributing aid are subjected daily to gunfire from Israeli forces, leaving civilians caught between dying of hunger or bullets, according to a statement from the government media office in Gaza.

Reports indicate that Israeli forces, supported by the United States, are committing genocide in the sector that includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop the aggression. This aggression leaves hundreds of thousands displaced, in addition to hundreds missing, and an increasing number of bodies that have not yet been identified, as well as famine that has claimed the lives of many innocents, with the majority of the victims being children and women.
