The Israeli occupation army continues its military escalation on the Gaza Strip, having recently targeted the headquarters of the Palestinian Red Crescent in Khan Younis, resulting in the martyrdom of one of the workers at the headquarters and igniting a fire inside. It also targeted the first floor of the administrative building in the Hope City, resulting in one death and several injuries, amid ongoing heavy bombardment on various areas of the sector.

The correspondent for Al-Arabiya reported that the death toll from these attacks has reached two martyrs, in addition to several children injured due to shelling from drones on the Tunnel Street in Gaza. He confirmed that the bombardment focused on multiple areas, including the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood and the Tuffah neighborhood, with continued targeting of homes and infrastructure, leading to the destruction of many houses and exacerbating the suffering of the residents.

In this context, the media official at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza, Raed Al-Nimsa, stated that medical and relief teams continue to provide their services despite the repeated targeting of their headquarters and personnel, confirming that 51 members of the teams have been martyred since the onset of the aggression, and 35 others have been arrested, calling on the international community to hold the occupation accountable for its crimes and to secure the operations of the Red Crescent from threats and obstacles.

Al-Nimsa pointed out that the Red Crescent continues to document all Israeli attacks and submits reports to the Security Council and international bodies, holding the occupation responsible for disrupting the work of humanitarian institutions, despite the international community's demands not to target the Red Crescent personnel, which are continuously ignored.

In Khan Younis, the occupation targeted a shelter center in the Hope neighborhood, resulting in the martyrdom of two martyrs and several others with serious injuries, according to our correspondent in Deir al-Balah, Abdullah Muqaddad. The occupation has also intensified its bombardment and destruction of homes in the western areas of the city, while sirens sounded in the Gaza envelope and east of Gaza City, as Israeli aircraft launched raids on the Tuffah neighborhood and the Nuseirat and Al-Bureij camps.

In contrast, sirens were activated near the Third Eye area east of the sector, where Israeli sources reported that the Iron Dome system intercepted a missile launched from the southern sector towards the cities of the Gaza envelope, while the Israeli army announced that it had likely intercepted another missile launched from the same area, in an attempt to mitigate the missile attacks on the surrounding settlements.
