US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Israel on Thursday, where he is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at 2:00 PM.
It is estimated that Witkoff will also visit food aid distribution sites run by the US- and Tel Aviv-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation inside the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Israeli President Isaac Herzog welcomed the visit of US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to Israel on Thursday, describing it as "an additional, vital, and decisive effort that must not be missed, and that calls for harnessing all capabilities to reach a hostage exchange deal."
