Bethlehem: Occupation forces demolish two homes and four agricultural rooms in Wadi Rahal.

Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished two homes and four agricultural rooms in the village of Wadi Rahhal, south of Bethlehem Governorate, as part of the policy of forced displacement and tightening the noose on citizens in Area C.

Local sources reported that large forces of the occupation army, accompanied by bulldozers and military vehicles, stormed the village and began extensive demolition operations, including four agricultural rooms used for storing agricultural equipment and supplies.

She added that military bulldozers also demolished two homes, each measuring approximately 200 square meters, one belonging to Ahmed Al-Badawi and the other to the Saad family.

The village of Wadi Rahhal is one of the areas threatened by seizure and settlement, given its proximity to the Efrat settlement, built on private Palestinian land south of Bethlehem. From time to time, it witnesses demolition and bulldozing operations targeting the Palestinian presence.

It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities demolished 588 facilities in the first half of this year, causing harm to 843 citizens, including 411 children. During the same period, they issued demolition notices to 556 facilities, including 322 inhabited homes, 18 uninhabited ones, 151 agricultural facilities, and 97 facilities classified as sources of livelihood and others, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
