Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Monday, under heavy guard from the Israeli occupation police.

Eyewitnesses reported that settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups, conducted provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals amid a heavy presence of Israeli police.

According to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, settlers carried out more than 25 raids during the month of June, following escalating calls from extremist Temple Mount groups. These groups regularly urge incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform Talmudic rituals within its courtyards, in an attempt to alter the historical and legal status of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
