The occupation's aggression on Tulkarm and its camps continues for the 152nd day.

The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 152nd consecutive day, and on the Nour Shams camp for the 139th day, amid ongoing escalation and military reinforcements around the clock.

Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city, its suburbs, and its two camps, carrying out raids, searches, and field detentions of citizens, while deploying military reinforcements including vehicles and infantry units.

The city witnessed last night and this morning intense movements of occupation vehicles, especially in the southern and eastern neighborhoods. They deliberately obstructed the movement of citizens and vehicles, especially in the middle of the market, the vicinity of Martyr Thabet Thabet Square, and Nablus Street. They pursued them, while sounding their horns in a provocative manner, and driving against the traffic, endangering the lives of citizens.

In Nour Shams camp, occupation forces stormed the al-Mahjar neighborhood, raided several homes, and subjected their residents to field investigations. They then took a group of young men to the wooded area opposite the camp, detaining them for several hours before releasing them later.

Israeli occupation forces set up a flying checkpoint around the Aktaba suburb roundabout, east of the city, and subjected vehicles to thorough inspections, while detaining young men and firing live ammunition, causing a state of tension and high alert in the area.

House raids were also carried out in the vicinity of Al-Firdaws Mosque on Nablus Street, where military vehicles were seen roaming the street for hours, setting up flying checkpoints and preventing vehicles from passing.

Meanwhile, this morning, Nour Shams camp witnessed a heavy presence of occupation forces and bulldozers, as they removed the rubble of homes demolished in recent days and leveled the streets, which had been completely destroyed, separating neighborhoods from each other. The neighborhoods of Al-Manshiya, Al-Maslakh, Al-Iyada, and Al-Jami' were affected.

Over the course of two consecutive weeks, more than 50 buildings were demolished in Tulkarm camp, affecting the neighborhoods of Balawneh, Al-Akasha, Al-Nadi, Al-Sawalmeh, Al-Hamam, Al-Madaris, and their surroundings.

The occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege on the two camps and their surrounding areas, with infantry units, military vehicles, and heavy bulldozers deployed in alleyways and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes or checking on their property, amid direct gunfire targeting anyone approaching the area.

This daily escalation comes as part of a plan announced by the occupation authorities last May to demolish 106 buildings in both camps, including 58 buildings in Tulkarm camp alone, comprising more than 250 residential homes and dozens of commercial establishments, in addition to 48 buildings in Nour Shams camp, under the pretext of opening roads and changing geographical features.

The escalation has led to the forced displacement of more than 5,000 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens. It has also led to the complete destruction of more than 500 homes and the partial damage of 2,573 others. Meanwhile, the entrances to the camps remain blocked with barriers, transforming them into almost lifeless areas.

In the same vein, the occupation forces continue to close the two gates of the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm almost permanently, preventing vehicles from passing through. They also periodically erect a flying checkpoint at the Jabara Bridge south of the city, exacerbating the suffering of residents and complicating their daily movement.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue to transform Nablus Street into a military barracks, continuing their seizure of a number of residential buildings there, along with parts of the city's northern neighborhood, specifically those facing Tulkarm refugee camp. The occupation forces forcibly evacuated residents of these neighborhoods, some of which have been under occupation control for more than four months, and have deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers in the surrounding areas.

This street, which serves as a link between the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, has also suffered significant damage due to earth mounds placed by the occupation forces several months ago. The occupation forces are also heavily present, setting up flying and surprise checkpoints, obstructing vehicle movement and exacerbating the suffering of civilians.

The ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of people have been injured and arrested, and widespread destruction has been caused to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.
