A number of citizens suffered suffocation on Thursday during an Israeli occupation forces raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar with a number of military vehicles, deploying throughout the town center and several neighborhoods. Israeli soldiers fired live and rubber bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas at the residents, causing a number of them to suffer from suffocation and were treated on the spot.
The occupation forces also deliberately fired a sound bomb into a civilian's restaurant, causing material damage.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the Sahib junction in the southern part of Hebron, stopping and searching citizens' vehicles.
