Ben-Gvir: Halting aid to Gaza brings us closer to victory, and I will raise the issue again with the government.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said that halting the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip "will quickly bring Israel closer to victory," arguing that the continued flow of aid gives Hamas a strong boost and helps it survive.

Ben-Gvir added that he will demand that the aid issue be brought up for a vote again during the next cabinet session, in an attempt to reconsider the decision to allow its entry.

In a separate context, he noted that Israel is a sovereign state, but supported US President Donald Trump's statement, arguing that "the time has come to cancel the trial orchestrated by the deep state," referring to the criticism facing Israeli law enforcement institutions.
