56 dead since dawn: 5 citizens killed by Israeli occupation fire in northern Gaza

Five citizens were killed and others wounded by Israeli occupation fire on Monday evening while waiting for aid in northwest Gaza City.

Local sources reported that five citizens were killed and dozens more injured after the occupation forces targeted them with gunfire while they were waiting for aid in the northwest of Gaza City. This brings the death toll in the Gaza Strip since dawn today to 56, including 38 aid-seekers.

Medical sources reported that the death toll among those waiting for aid has risen to 338 martyrs and 2,831 wounded since May 27.

Earlier, two citizens were killed and others injured when Israeli air forces bombed a warehouse in the town of Az-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it. The genocide has left more than 184,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed the lives of many, including children, as well as widespread destruction.
