The Ministry of Health in Gaza warns of the collapse of the remaining health institutions in the Strip.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned on Sunday that Al-Shifa Medical Complex and Al-Ahli Arab Hospital are at risk of being out of service within 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement that the shutdown of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and the Arab Ahli Hospital meant the collapse of the remaining healthcare facilities in Gaza City. However, the ministry later announced that the Al-Shifa Complex had been supplied with limited quantities of fuel sufficient for only three days.

The ministry noted that the fuel at Nasser Medical Complex is sufficient for no more than two days, and called on relevant authorities to take urgent action and pressure Israel to allow the entry of fuel and oil for the hospitals' generators.

Earlier today, the ministry announced that the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip had risen to 54,880 since October 7, 2023.

The ministry said in a daily statistical report that 108 people were killed and 393 injured in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli shelling.
