The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that "the aid distribution model in the Gaza Strip is ineffective."
"The aid distribution model is tantamount to inviting people to their deaths," said UNRWA spokesperson Juliette Touma, stressing that "the only way to safely and widely distribute aid to the people of Gaza is through the United Nations, including UNRWA."
In statements reported by the agency's website on the "X" platform on Saturday, Touma considered the agency's work during the ceasefire "successful and tangible."
