Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, issued an urgent warning to the Israeli occupation forces.
Abu Obeida said in a tweet a short while ago on his Telegram channel: "The occupation forces are besieging a place where the Zionist prisoner Matan Zangauker is being held, and we affirm categorically that the enemy will not be able to recover him alive."
He added, "If this prisoner is killed during an attempt to free him, the occupation army will be the one responsible for his death, after we preserved his life for a year and eight months. He who has been warned is excused."
In a related context, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a statement this morning, Saturday, that "a joint operation between the army and the Shin Bet" succeeded in finding (yesterday, Friday) the body of a Thai detainee, (Nitpong Pinta), in the Gaza Strip.
The statement indicated that the body was transferred from the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip to Israel.
