The same sources reported that laboratories and blood banks in the remaining hospitals are operating at only 40% capacity, under heavy pressure from lab tests, and without any regular maintenance systems, as spare parts are unavailable.
She stated that 60% of the equipment was destroyed, as the Israeli occupation deliberately damaged it. Meanwhile, hospital laboratories urgently need to reinforce their equipment to meet the departments' need to conduct tests for patients and the wounded.
