Government media in Gaza: Tons of aid are spoiled and the prevention of its entry deepens the famine in the Strip.

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip stated that large quantities of humanitarian aid are being destroyed as a result of the occupation's continued prevention of its entry into the Strip, at a time when the population is suffering from famine and a severe shortage of food and medical supplies.

The office noted that the occupation is promoting a misleading media narrative claiming it is allowing aid into Gaza, while the reality is that only about 100 trucks have entered, a number that falls far short of meeting the minimum humanitarian needs of more than two million people living in dire conditions.

The office stressed that preventing the entry of aid constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, calling on the international community to intervene immediately and pressure the urgent and unrestricted opening of the crossings.
