At least 12 civilians were killed and dozens injured on Saturday in Israeli shelling of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed the Mawasi area in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, killing at least seven civilians and wounding 60 others. It added that an Israeli drone targeted the home of the Al-Sharif family in the vicinity of Asdaa city, northwest of Khan Yunis, killing five citizens.
Medical sources reported that 21 persons have been killed since dawn on Saturday, as a result of the occupation's bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip.
