Israeli occupation continues to close the Tayasir military checkpoint for the 27th day

The Israeli occupation forces continue to close the Tayasir military checkpoint east of Tubas for the twenty-seventh day, disrupting daily movement in all its areas in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources reported that the closure has disrupted educational, economic and social life in the northern Jordan Valley, as citizens are forced to wait for long hours at the Hamra military checkpoint, the second outlet to the northern Jordan Valley, to be able to reach their workplaces and schools.

The Tayasir military checkpoint connects the West Bank governorates to the Palestinian Jordan Valley. The occupation established it in conjunction with the Al-Aqsa Intifada at the beginning of the current millennium.
