Israeli occupation sentences colleague Rasha Harzallah to prison and a fine

Today, Sunday, the military court of the occupation in the Salem camp sentenced the journalist colleague at the Palestinian News and Information Agency "Wafa", Rasha Harzallah, to prison and a fine.

The family stated in a phone call with the official news agency "Wafa" that the occupation court issued a sentence against colleague Harzallah to six months in prison, ending on December 1, in addition to a fine of 13 thousand shekels.

Our colleague Rasha Harzallah was arrested on June 2nd, after being summoned for investigation at the Huwara detention center. She is the sister of the martyr Muhammad Harzallah.

Herzallah is among about 94 journalists who have been arrested since the start of the war of extermination in Gaza. Among the journalists, there are four female journalists: (Rula Hassanein, Bushra Al-Tawil, Rasha Herzallah, and the journalism student at Birzeit University Amal Shujaiya), and at least 16 journalists from Gaza whose identities we were able to verify. Among the journalists, 17 are under administrative detention, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
