Israeli Channel: Report of Kidnapping Turns Out to Be Fake

Israel's Channel 12 said that the report of a kidnapping near the West Bank settlement of Migdalim turned out to be false.

Earlier, Israel Hayom reported that initial reports indicated an attempt to kidnap a young Israeli woman near the Za'tara checkpoint in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli army spokesman also announced that he had received a report of a kidnapping incident in the West Bank and said that large forces were deployed and combing the area. He added that forces were deployed in the area, setting up checkpoints and closing streets, and that the incident was under investigation.
