Netanyahu pledges to settlers to cancel US and international sanctions against them

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged on Thursday to settler leaders in the West Bank to work seriously and quickly to stop the sanctions recently imposed on them by the US administration and Western countries.

Netanyahu met with settler leaders in the West Bank in his office in occupied Jerusalem.

Netanyahu indicated that senior officials from his government will soon discuss with their counterparts in the US administration the lifting of these sanctions against settler leaders as well as activists in the settlements who lead violent attacks against Palestinians.

Netanyahu listened to the civilian and security needs of the settlers and settlements.
