The Israeli army reduced the size of its forces in the “limited” operation east of Rafah, as the “Givati” Brigade withdrew early in the morning from Rafah to return to Israel, after about two weeks of military operations, according to what the website of the “Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper reported, today, Sunday. .
This comes amid reports of the reopening of the Rafah crossing and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from it.
The website quoted an Israeli army spokesman as saying, "Reducing the size of the forces is for the purpose of resting and refreshing the soldiers in order to return to fitness."
