Today, Thursday, the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, made a phone call with the Egyptian Minister of Intelligence, Major General Abbas Kamel, regarding negotiations to stop the aggression against our people.
Haniyeh assured Minister Abbas Kamel of the movement’s negotiating delegation coming to Egypt as soon as possible to complete the ongoing discussions with the aim of maturing an agreement that fulfills the demands of our people and stops the aggression.
Haniyeh appreciated the role played by Egypt, stressing the positive spirit of the movement in studying the ceasefire proposal.
