President Mahmoud Abbas said this evening, Wednesday, "Our people have the right to defend themselves against the brutal and continuous crimes and attacks of the settlers and the Israeli occupation army."
This came during a phone call with the mayor of Turmusaya, north of Ramallah, Lafi Theeb, who offered condolences on the martyrdom of the young man, Omar Jabara, in the town.
President Abbas confirmed that he directed the government to provide all needs to strengthen the steadfastness of the people of Turmusaya in the face of settler attacks.
